As I was about to write my reflection,
I thought of my chosen profession
That someday I will promote education,
A challenge which gives me motivation.
There is a new trend in learning,
Something which enhances teaching,
A process that we’ll be implementing
For students greater up-bringing.
Here comes the twenty-first century
Along with the skills which are necessary;
And it is a challenge to be
A teacher to teach those effectively.
It will be a noble duty
Promoting students’ responsibility
That will test teachers’ creativity
And will surely improve students’ ability.
Project – based learning instruction,
Increasing students’ disposition,
Developing their self – actualization,
Advocating better knowledge acquisition.
Students will be able to maximize multiple intelligences
By coming up with outputs and performances.
Group works may come along the process
In order to enhance learning experiences.
This will enrich students’ ability,
Instilling a sense of accountability,
Refining a skill of adaptability,
As well as creativity and intellectual curiosity.
This will advance students’ learning,
Critical and systems thinking
As they gain better understanding
Through communicating and collaborating.
There are a lot more things to impart.
As teachers, we should do our part.
We have the key to help us start;
And teach with the passion rooted in our heart.
I was inspired by what I’ve learned,
An essential knowledge I’ve earned.
I will teach students and let them turn
Into beings who could individually discern.
I’m still preparing to be a teacher,
Aiming for learning to be even better,
A challenge I now begin to bear,
A promise posted in this computer.
